Morning Health Gymnastics for Absolute Beginners
Structured around your body's actual needs - not a generic routine. This programme adapts as you progress, with each session building on what came before.
Most people who come to this program have tried generic workout videos and stopped after two weeks. The routines felt disconnected from their actual body - their stiffness, their posture problems, their energy levels in the morning.
What this program actually addresses
We begin with a full movement assessment. Your instructor maps out where you hold tension, which joints have limited range, and what your baseline flexibility looks like. Every session is then built around those findings, not a template.
The exercises draw from classical health gymnastics traditions, including joint mobility sequences, controlled breathing patterns, and gradual spinal decompression work. Nothing explosive, nothing that strains cold muscles.
A typical session looks like this
You start with five minutes of gentle neck and shoulder rolls, move into standing hip circles, then progress to floor-based stretches targeting the lower back. Sessions run 30 minutes. You practice three times per week, ideally in the morning before your body has absorbed the day's stress.
Progress is tracked through a simple weekly check-in. Your instructor adjusts the program every fortnight based on what you report and what they observe during live sessions.
Who this suits
People over 35 who sit at a desk most of the day. Anyone recovering from mild postural issues. People who want a sustainable daily movement practice rather than a fitness challenge.
Ingrid Falk, 41, office administrator - after six weeks she stopped waking up with lower back stiffness.
